Emmanuel Casal and Yanina Muzyka are a dance couple of the new generation.
Creativity, poetry, and play are tangible and visible in their futuristic productions. In addition, there is their sophisticated technique, their awareness of the essence of ballroom dance and their strong, mutual connection.
"We are tecnica y barro" - they say -, "our style combines technique with the mud of the streets of Buenos Aires".
Yanina has been studying dance since she was young: first flamenco, then Spanish dance and folklore, all the way to the University of the Arts, the UNA.
Emanuel is from the street - he went to his grandfather's Milonga straight after school, and he improvised tango performances for tourists.
That's when Emmanuel conquered the beautiful red-haired dancer and converted her to his bohemian way of life. Yanina says: "For me it was no problem to pirouette on a stage, to jump, to fly. But everything else was missing for me." The performances in Caminito and later in San Telmo were her first encounter with the public - and her first source of income.
They experiment on stage and on the street with total creative freedom.
After studying the tango intensively, they developed their methodology to approach the tango from its sensitive, collaborative, free and playful side.
They now tour the whole world, or work in Buenos Aires. Either in important shows or with their tango students.
They have now been dancing together for 13 years. But they do not yet feel that they have "arrived", and they maintain the creative and experimental restlessness of those who have still a long way to go.

The Tango Schule Basel GmbH will carry out the seminar according to the above services.
The TSB can cancel the seminar due to unforeseeable circumstances. Then there are no cancellation fees.
Cancellation costs: 60 days before CHF 50.- cancellation fee, up to 30 days before 50% of the price thereafter 100% of the price.
